i know, it’s miserable. it’d help if i could picture something truly rotten and work from there. like a child weeping blood from malnutrition in the presence of an international observer, openly sabotaging the process of change, or a local lawyer helping residential victims of toxic dumping recoup medical costs, making it fiscally inopportune to cease dumping. but i can’t express the fullness of my disgust with these people. or worse, with those who live off the grid and do not sacrifice their future to increase the odds that mild improvements will be among many future options. these are acts well within reproach. but. i believe people should seek even the most juvenile self-defeating and empty desires of their hearts, for this moves the wheels. a world without irrational wants is a world without markets.
